Have a 02 forester too. Selling it soon. Very reliable, but the teens legs do not fit in the back anymore, nor does gear four four adults and ten days worth of everything else. The new forester is even worse in terms of storage, but marginally better on leg room - marginally. New crag vehicle is the 2.2 santa Fe - goes like a stabbed rat and uses much less fuel than the sub ever did. Buckets of room too. Will not be as off road worthy as the sub - less clearance, but honestly never really needed the clearance in the sub, just used the awd gravel handling. |
