You could probably claim damages for contractual breach through estoppel. They gave you a representation that they wanted the goods, which you subjectively relied upon and which was reaonable for you to rely upon. In addition this reliance was to your detriment. A couple hundred bucks is no small deal, dont let them screw you out of your money. Speak to a free legal service just to double check the facts of your case.
