2011 has been a pretty shit year for climbing for me. I lost my drivers licence and moved to country NSW and haven't put my harness on all year. There is plenty of rock out this way but my partner doesn't climb and she isn't always willing to drive me around looking for new areas, etc

Next August, I'm in business.

Best -

When widewetandslippery and mikl came out for the weekend and we went exploring around Weddin Mountain. We didn't do heaps of climbing but we had fun and managed to bump into one of the only other climbers in the area. The ghost train at the Grenfell Show was a hoot.

Worst -

Nangar. The only positive was that we could get phone reception and request an early pick up. If you have a 4x4 and can drive to the top of the cliff, it might be an OK destination. Our attempt was like the last days of Burke and Wills.
