Fear is the expectation of something yet to come to pass. Same as faith. I think fear and faith are present in all things. For me, it's about which one I let control me. So on one side of the coin, yes, I fear heights, but I won't allow it to control my actions. And thus my fear is transformed into something positive - faith.

Faith in the rock, the gear, the rope and ultimately myself.

The same internal feeling comes with both fear and faith, the battle is in the mind.
I can choose to let it control me or not.
Or can I?
