Excellent book. Very easy to read. Very thorough. I don't have a basis for comparison (I have not read any other climbing books) but I believe a beginner could get by with just this one book.

I like to re-read it every now and again as i understand it better after having learnt more vocabulary and technique.

I would have given it 5 stars except that it didn't help me magically climb 32's. Actually, it's because it's American and aimed more at Americans and there are some differences (ie. vocab).
