I'd say 90% of the trees still have some greenery. Most are not completely
burnt down, but sporting regrowth even at this early stage of recovery.
During the time of writing (5th April 2003), Lake Catani and indeed
anywhere in the park was still closed for camping, though several of the
more popular walking tracks are open. From a climbers perspective, much
more rock appears exposed, free of vegetation.
