Rock Climbing Definition
| Headpoint | A play on the term redpoint. Basically it means any lead which, for you, is more of a mental challenge than a physical one. For instance you may have already top roped the hell out of the route, wired the cruxes, and are now going for the "headpoint", ie actually leading it, but expecting the fear of being above your gear to be the biggest difficulty. |
