Very interesting bolting! Is the route 25 with the Z-clip rope drag or without? |

It's one of the New Nowra crags - find info here.

Nice photo.
I like the abstract nature of the slanted light. The action compliments the light-frame, and the photo allows 'space' for the climber to go...
~> I also agree with pmonks re the 'interesting' bolting.
If it was more spaced I would have given another star, apart from the proximity of the adjoining route...
(... & star rating increased*).

The two bolts are for two different finishes to the climb. |

Jess needs to take more care with rope management. She could have big problems if she falls off there. |

Considering there is a bolt at her waist she wont fall far :)
Good to see th New Nowra promotional juggernaut is still in full swing. |

She did fall and she was fine! I don't like photoshopped photos so the draws from the neighbouring climb were left in. |

@ Big G
>I don't like photoshopped photos
A good ethic to have, in my opinion.
The adjoining draw is part of the climbing style involved, so does not significantly detract from the overall photo effect. In fact some would argue it adds interest to the photo.
My earlier comment was more in relation to the close spacing of bolts; a theme which is simply my own personal bug-bear/opinion, ... and in retrospect should not cloud my judgement of technical aspects of photo images...
Accordingly I have edited my previous comment. |

I was there when this picture was taken and I never saw the sliver of light on the rock. So its amazing what happens when you take out all the surrounding distractions. Jess was a little sick this day and we thought she was bunging it on, little did we know she would get quite ill.
Yes the last move is a cracker best done on tired arms!!! |

The dreaded 'go for the gaston with the wrong hand making it a good sidepull but cant move now' move. I like it! |
