How about a big tick mark aiming straight for a clump of moss. That would be funny to watch! |

Not bad Paulie but I thought the one where he's slapping to that sloper was better...

I agree with gordoste, even though it is a great problem!
Maybe get the others in the sequence put up as links in the original posting? (like some have done before).
Your shot of bl@ke on The (bottomless) Corner, would be a worthy pic of the week also.
In fact, for photographic-technical, as well as human interest reasons, I'd give it 4½ stars.

I don't choose what photos go up on this thing guys, but I do quite like this one as it's always hard to make small problems look 'atmospheric'. Neil, I already tried tickmarks to moss when Rob Saunders came out for a session, but it resulted in him taking a ground fall and nearly doing in his knee! |

by the way, i heard that this was the first time M9 went bouldering, ever! is it the start of a new obsession? |

No.
... though I did find it interesting, especially bl@ke's facial expression to my onsight success on my first ever 'official' boulder problem...
One Blank Face ~ (Another Paulie photo).

I also note it was subsequently downgraded from V2 to V0 after my send of it, though the guidebook still tells a different story till it is next revised ☻.
That was two weeks ago.
I must be getting sick or something ...
Last weekend I went for my first ever climb on plastic, being a bouldering wall in Canberra.
(~>Definitely must be crook, ... heh7).
Capt_mulch went home early and I stayed on a bit longer to raise a sweat and maybe get some fitness out of it.
... ~> a quarter hour later I have three flappers.
Glad I did not pay for the experience!
~> Have now been there. Done that.
I still prefer a bit of real/natural air beneath my heels ...

I give it 3 stars cos its ME of course!! Ha ha! Great shot Paulie, you really captured the nature of the bouldering at Felltimber. It really is a well kept secret, considering its in the backyard of Wodonga! I can't believe more climbers don't hit it up. Oh well... more goodies for ME!! |

Hi Rod, 'Where Bovines Fear to Tread' is a really fun route, it's very short and not sustained at all, but has this wonderful crux on the last move of the route which is way out on that lip/arete and around the corner from the last bolt in the photo which makes for some very entertaining falling! |

A lovely photo Mr Martin and very good climbing action too Mr Mace.
It does look like a very hard problem so the name of it is appropriate too I think.
I like the other ones in the link to McFarlanes Hill too dearie. Keep up the good work. |

I can't help thinking though that, as has been said before, bouldering photos aren't very exciting. I love bouldering personally, but for it's technicality, not the view?! So I can see this is all of V4 and Ben has done a good job sending it, but give me photos of climbs of "Downwind" anytime (my latest laptop background!!) |
