If you go to your 'main' profile, ie the one you can edit, that is contained under the profile button on top of page, you will notice the bottom section has a category called 'Interaction:'
~> This is where you see the stats against you, if any exist.

If you simply clicked on your user ID, then that is the general exhibition profile, and it does not contain the 'Interaction:' information.

I like ODHs subset theory. I also like the idea that Sabu has mortally offended nearly as many people as me.

You show potential Sabu, with a bit of effort I reckon you could out do ODH in a flash.

I bet you guys are voting for each other just to make yourselves look cool.

I recon I know who my three are.

.. and here's a question. Should the votes remain if the user that made them no longer participates in the forum? and if a tree falls in cyberspace and no-one is logged in, does it make any sound?

Actually thats my question too. I think at least 1 or two of mine are from many years ago when i was an annoying teenager... Now I'm just an annoying uni student!

If I remember correctly, and I have seen too much coming/going on Chockstone to keep a half accurate track of that, regarding long time 'sleeper-votes', my guess is that the mods are not silly, and would apply common sense to the number of votes by looking at who is making them, and when they were made.
There was a post by nmonteith in the earlier linked thread that would suggest this is possible for them.
As an aside, the vote off function can be reversed by the voter if they choose to do so at any time. This obviously doesn't happen if the user no longer accesses the site.

... but you would know from the post history of the user ID when that poster was around, and from their posts possibly deduce when/if they had a bee in their bonnet; so yeah (it seems), not when specifically, but possibly generally? ~> at least enough to know if the vote is a sleeper-vote.

I still reckon the ignore user function is the best way to go, if one is often upset by a particular posters style; and correspondingly don't imagine the mods have an easy task of it, because there are so many different types of users on Chocky and they will never be able to please all the posters all the time.

I remember the main voters - so no need to go back and do more analysis. Neil's post from 2007 pretty much sums it up. ;-)

In my opinion, all of the above user ID's (M10iswhereitsat, Edward Sillypants, ghost), were the same person.
He was originally known as Hex.
He had other user ID's too, but they ended up binned as well.
No-one has come close to number of posts or number of binnings before or since...

Sad really, as half of what he wrote was either funny or factual, it is just that the other half was sufficiently obnoxious that people voted him off...
