Oooh, stop it, I'm getting an itchy 'add to cart' finger. You can get by on one board, but as with any equipment, it limits you to what you can then do. There's no way I'd take my full mal out on punchy Solomons reef break (take off and pray), and there's no way I'd use the reef board on sloppy Manly beach break. If you want to be able to cover all styles, you gotta have gear.
