Precautionary call for safety check of the EDELRID MEGA JUL 14/11/2023

We've been made aware overnight that Edelrid have launched a Precautionary Inspection notice for the MegaJul belay device.

Edelrid is calling on owners of the MEGA JUL belay device and descender from the 04/20 batch to visually inspect the device for a possible defect.

Please note that it is ONLY batch 04/20 is potentially affected, any units not in this batch are not, at this stage, affected by this inspection notice.

Hi All,
We received word overnight that Edelrid have now updated the precautionary check to include all Mega Jul devices, regardless of batch number.
