Hi John

My trigger finger in my left middle finger made me crazy. Not severe but still not cured, though I've done two times steroid injections. Changed to acupuncture and have done 15 times. 70% better but still tight when I try to grasp my hand.

I don't want to do operation as all western doctors suggest. How did you do massage ? You did it yourself or by specialist ? Glocosamine, is it a kind of medicine ? How did it work ?

glucosamine is excellent for certain joint and tendon issues, (consult appropriate health professional), somehow extracted from shark cartilage, there is an ethical dilemma involved that i cant detail but it may bear some research. i think there is an expensive synthetic alternative. Many arthritus sufferers swear by it and have almost instant results. Fish oil i believe has a similar effect with less dramatic results. With refererence to the earlier argument, specialist are great, they know much more than the rest of us about their specialty the trouble is that in the scheme of the human body, this is still bugger all. I use the following test, if they give the impression that they know all there is to know then they are unreliable, if they willing to consider alternatives outside there sphere of expertise then they are gold. Apologies for rant but major pet hate is people placing to much beleif in any branch of medicine.
