that i disagree with- yes it is good for building endurance, but i get the impression they keep using the same slopy holds throughout the entire gym. feels to me like you need brute forearm strength because you end up using the same muscles on every hold. but yes fight it and you will be strong, it just doesn't necessarily fit with trying to find a nice way through the problem.

yes definitely, diversity is good. we used to have this philosophy that you can't bag a route out if you can't do it, but once you tick it off you can bag it out all you like. yeah sometimes stuff feels awkward 'cos its a different style, & you probably need to developthat style more.
