Was great to meet you lee, vicki, simon, and all the kids who rocked up over the weekend

For those heading this way over the next three weeks give us a bell. The pics make the house look very play-boy mansion like, but things have way settled down now (climb by day, sleep by night!) Lots of room for more ppl now, there was 25 on the weekend but is looking to be more like 8-10 or so for the next couple weeks. Come stay!

hey all.. just booked the place for another 3 weeks so if you're keen let us know. not very many ppl at the moment so its not a mad house like it was last weekend..

Yep - a real pleasure to meet you too Jackie (and Rich, Heidi, Cat etc etc...!) I envy the fact you're still there and I am stuck at work. Although work provides the enforced rest I sorely need.

See you up in sunny Queensland sometime soon.

Sooner than later for sure!

Work will give the tips a chance to recover - unless you're typing on an abrasive keyboard ouch!

Just got back from the Nowra Mansion, I totally recommend it to anyone thinking of going up. I spent the best part of a week in there, and loved every second of it...

Go out for a hard days climbing come back relax in a spa, or on the lounge watching dvd's , playing a game of table tennis, or relax in the sauna!!!

All climbers,
All friendly,
All good....

Only one real negative point about the entire trip, I had to come home to work.... ; P

Thanks again to Jaq and Rich for being such wonderfull hosts.
Enjoy the rest of your trip guys!!!!....
Chris. : )

You guys still at this frat house thing? I finish exams on thursday, and will be ramping up my climbing accordingly after that.

Bivy bag? Why when I were a lad, we were happy to sleep next to a sodden cardboard box. Considered it right posh we did

& so you should have 'cos you had it good!
Back in my day we used to use me mums clothes-line as a bivvy.
'Course this meant having to hang on suspended (without pegs) all night but we didn't mind 'cos we us'ta have to get up half hour before we went to bed, to get it out to the cliffs anyway...

You guys are bringing back happy memories! In about '74, Keith Wadsworth and I were forced into an unplanned bivvy near the summit of Mt Geryon after climbing the east face. Horizontal scrub as a mattress and wet ropes as blankets. Ahh true luxury!
