Rack is (mostly) sorted and packed!
Btw, we've realized that we just don't have enough space for three people, for anything longer than overnight. Bulti reckons he can get a 40L plastic drum by the weekend which we can make work.
But I thought I'd put out a feeler, and see if we might beg or borrow an extra haul bag if we want to do Ozy next week?

I'm off to do the snowy from the good side to the sea. Good onya Rod for organising your wack fest. If I wasnt so intent on drowning I may of come along. We'll at least share the weather.

The great gear whore within sees the pics above and feels sad being unable to play with lots of gear this weekend.

With any luck, M75, something big will catch fire and •possibly-maybe• explode, then you will get to play with lots of toys, water, and a big red truck.

Awesome, I need to plan that trip one of these spring paddling seasons. Looks like the Snowy's at 1.25m at McKillops Bridge, bit on the low side surprisingly. Have fun.
You gunna run Gentle Annie?

Sounded like a great event, was tempted to give aid climbing a try. How did it go? How about a post with some photo's?

Thanks Rod for organising this event, and to all for the great company. It was a really fun weekend. As a complete aid newbie it was a nice way to learn some aid basics, lead my first aid climb and play around with the various bits of equipment that you might not see trad climbing.
TimP, I think Philbox took some photos so he might post some when he gets the chance

Had not seen that. A good link; thanks for posting it.
Re various;

I had the easy bit, as you lot had to turn up and then commit* to actually doing it!
(* That word has an added aid-context emphasis now eh? Heh, heh, heh).
It was a very successful event and I will get around to a trip report before too long; though if others (I hereby encourage you! ☺) are up to it, feel free to get in ahead of me.
Phil Box said on the w/end that he would put his photos up on facebook for others to access, though I have not looked because he sent a bunch through to me to supplement my TR.
I will post some now as teasers for it, and l look forward to possibly reading other TR's later, likely including an sbm one, as he and his mates are still on Defender of the Faith.

+1
Great weekend with an entertaining mix of people, tips and some good old-fashioned sand-bagging.
Speaking for myself, now I have a solo-aid pitch under my belt I have the confidence to be my true obnoxious self and alienate all my climbing partners, secure in the knowledge I can still get out onto the rock without them.
Thanks Rod for organizing (and for not falling onto me during his hooking madness) and to others for making the trip.
