If i may ask joe, did YOU ask anyone before you bolted existing routes? There is a reason we disscus these things publicly. Why do you put up routes as a community service?

So you are content with bolting in a public place, a National Park, but you are not happy for a discussion in a public place? I can't see how that helps the climbing community.

Right, so he DIDN'T ask before he bolted however Geoff is cool with it. Fair enough.

The respectful action now would be to remove them.

It is admirable that Joe thinks of others in this world, however I admire people who think for themselves when it comes to climbing.
