Just make sure you leave at least one trad placment Neilo...or it wouldnt be a proper Grampians sport route.

According to a mystery Natimuckracking source - every trad route up to grade 22 has already been led on this cliff band. They won't give route descriptions though....

To quote myself
>A number of routes were done in the area (walls around the caves and north) ground up on natural gear, up to about 22.
Which you turn around into.

I'm pretty sure Zac would be up to giving it a lash once we've ticked our current gr30+ Blue'ies trad line.

Neil,
Some of those little grey crags have also been climbed on - not by me. I've seen some write-ups somewhere. I can't remember whether this and the cliff on top of the range were written up in Rock or Argus though. BA might have an idea. As I've just donated my Rock collection to Simey I'm going to have trouble checking it.

Yes i think a lot of those grey walls have been climbed Rock Guide 'New Climbs including Nowra update' insert to for Rock no 30.
Have climbed a few of these routes including throwing rope over the main face Neil refers to.
We have also been climbing 100 left of main cave on yellow wall which doesnt appear to have been climbed on previously ?.

Great! Thanks for that info. I've got that guide so i'll enter whats in it into the online guide. It only lists 6 routes between grades 12 and 18. JH do you have any route descriptions for anything you've done?

All routes from the Rock Update have been added to the online guide! I'll check them out and take photo topos next weekend...

"Lets have the route descriptions!
Ok, ok, I'm looking for them. Do you have any idea how much paper and old notepads are in my house. Welcome to come and help. Think I've narrowed it down to 2 rooms.

I've heard a few reports about people getting bogged on the short-cut access road to this crag, which is surprising since we drove a Mazda 121 and a Magna in there! The less sandy way in is to drive around the back way via Winfield Road. Still a few waterbars to deal with, but totally ok in a 2WD.
Hopefully this map makes it a bit clearer...
