Does anyone know of any deep water soloing areas in Sydney?
Doesnt have to be epic, maybe even a little bouldering problem-sized overhang.

and there's that wall and random outcrops in the dam at the Dam Cliffs? Mind you, fairly easy I think (i.e. climbed by the dirt bike riding locals while half cut and barefoot etc.) might be fun if you were climbing at the dam cliffs anyway and fancied a swim as opposed to serious DWS.

Craftys is certainly world class deep water soloing. Check it out!

When soloing Bow wall you must only try pulling crux moves when the waves are on the way in hey Bundy!

Has anyone tried the (Sydney - opposite Balmoral) Castle Rock / Grotto Point / Clontarf area? There are a few spots there, though it would have to be high tide.

tried clontarf about 5-6 years ago but what i found was mostly crap & covered in oysters (got my feet slashed up pretty bad)

Yeah, I've scoped out the Clontarf area pretty thoroughly (and no doubt the Kellerman's have too) and didn't find anything of interest. The block at Castle Rock Beach can provide some entertainment, but its hardly deep water, even at high tide.

By 'the block' do you mean Castle Rock itself, or the chunk of rock on the eastern side of the beach?

Castle Rock itself. It also features in the best of the rest in the Sydney Bouldering Guide.

Was at Wattamolla ( Royal National Park ) yesterday with the intentions of doing a few jumps and seeing if there is any DWS around.
This is the main wall which, if there was no water going over the top, could have maybe one line under the water fall but alot of the wall is v blank!
at the left end of the main wall, there is a smaller wall with a roof which would be doable with shoes. Olbert and I were giving it a go without shoes and it's quite nice.
Anyone else been out there for a climb?

I have it listed at http://www.sydneyclimbing.com/xgo_wattamolla.html . From memory Dave Barnes was the one who told me about it.
