What's the descent off North Jawbones like at the moment?
Last time I was there, the prickle bushes were horrendous.
Is rapping off feasible? I've heard tales of ropes getting very stuck.
Cheers.

It is ok at present - A few of us were there about a month ago, just take some care when throwing and retrieving and it is fine

Descent is good if walking via the saddle. Rappel of North Jawbone is quite good too, unlike South Jawbones where it's a prickle bush nightmare, and in addition to that the rap stations are positioned awkwardly...

Descent is either by twin 60's from Steve Toal's anchors at the right side (looking out) of the north buttress. or by twin 50's form the Captains of industry chain anchor down to a Cherry Ballart on Speigals. Not the preferred descent because the Cherry ballart is looking a bit worn out from people pulling the ropes (its also has a pretty thin trunk)

Great, thanks.
As long as I don't have to brave wading through the prickles.
