Does anyone out there know of the prickle situation to the base of the North Jawbones area in cathedral ranges? I was wanting to do some climbs there this weekend (21 jan).

We were up there before Christmas and access was pretty good.

approach has minimal prickels but the descent has quite a lot at the base of the wall. After one day of climbing we chose to rap down with doubles 60m ropes.

I was up there two days ago. The direct trade up from below was fine. As far as I'm aware the old descent track around the right end is history. We did two routes. After the first, we abseiled ( 2x 6Om and a bit of a pain due to the rope hanging up on bushes & jugs). We carried packs up the second route and walked over the summit and down the walking track. This was quite satisfactory,
