Speaking of Grampians projects, the Groovy extension got its first ascent today by Ben Cossey.
Originally bolted 7 years ago by Zac and Mikl and dubbed the Groove Train the name has stuck and the
grade he thinks is 33. It seems this might be the first of a new wave of routes on Taipan wall that climb
the wall in a single pitch and are bloody hard.

Awesome work Ben!

The extensions to snake flake and invisible fist also look pretty damn impressive too.

Cheers fellas.

The link up at millenium has been dubbed "Tunnel Vision". It's a very fitness based route (ie. no really hard moves.) Am keen to get others opinions on it. I'm sure once sick nutter incorporates it into his training regime, it will drop down to 28!

Nights in Venice is quite cool. The top is rather bouldery marty. I added a bolt to prevent people hitting the sloping ledge if they peel off up there. It's an awesome compression move on little edges.

Messin' With the Kid is also a great little route. The route climbs like a competition route ie. each move is a little harder than the next. I really liked this route. Credit to Marty for envisioning the line.

yes indeed. I see he did a 34 in the blueys just beforehand too ... I hope he's now moved on to some of the other projects listed on this thread while he's running hot!

here's a picture of the man and the route - but not together! (groove train is the line of chalked holds up the black streak on the L, the groovy anchor is at bottom left)

The ACA Millennium page has now been updated to show this new link. a whole bunch of other corrections and additions have been made too, thanks to Ross & KP for the feedback
