Going to Tassie for a short trip with the missus and won't be able to carry all my trad rack due to luggage limitations. Still, I'll be able to take a light rope and some draws. Any tips for a crag somewhere in the east coast where I could find some mellow sport climbs? somewhere between Hobart, Freycenet and the Fortescue Bay?

The most amount of mellow sport climbing is in Hillwood, near Launceston. There's the odd route about in Freycinet but not really worth the effort. The Organ Pipes above Hobart now host a bunch of sport routes that make for some fun climbing but not really a sport crag per se. Check out thesarvo.com for the info, most won't be in a printed guide as they're relatively new. The Paradiso (not far from Fortesque) has a bunch of good sport climbing too and makes for an awesome day out. If you can borrow a few cams from a friendly local the Moai makes for an awesome day out too.

I like Frecinet for cruisy trad climbing, ease of access and camping. Mount Brown for sport.
