I'll finish that for you Mig75.
Which is way better bro than chucking a tanty and ignoring peeps, or better even than having idiot fun winding peeps up here too.
Remember that when it all gets a bit tough, there are plenty of old farts here that are full of compassion and will offer up sage advice like, "get a spoon of cement into you an you'll be right".

Screw you D... I may be old and fat but I can still climb 19... I just might not make it to the top... or past the first move... or past the beers I had for breakfast

Booyah! I like new gear but like you, I've been experiencing a gear drought! In saying that I've bought lots of new mtb gear;)

I should get off my bum and organise the offwidth trip so you can put it to use...

Jayford4321, you wouldn't be an ODH protégé would you?

Hi Jayford,

Sadly, your initial post didn't really read as an attempt to highlight an issue but more a direct request that "someone" should "do something". Due to this misunderstanding, a lot of people have decided to take the piss.

For future reference, if you see an area needs attention, it's probably simplest to contact the VCC directly. Specifically, the Access and Environment Officer is employed by the VCC to coordinate these kinds of activities with climbers and land managers. You can email Tracey at cliffcare@vicclimb.org.au. You can also request to be listed on the work party mailing list so you can hear about working bees you can help out on.

Good luck.

M9, at least ODH generally has some sort of coherent point in there somewhere, even if he doesn't like my sarcasm.

ODH, I think from Mark's description there's 'only' one retro there (Unknown doesn't count in my books if no-one even knows if it was climbed). As for whether it's a public service, I don't think it generally is, but bolting a bunch of short easy things doesn't seem the way to go for an ego boost if that's what they're after.

So what's a grip? And just so you're not confused and deluded, u went on about ur gear getting dirty like a wanker, not about conservation originally. Awesome directions too mate, u like da direction king. Da direction and cliff clean up guru. Finger on the pulse bro.

Au contraire J, this website just got awesomer;)

J, you gotta do what you gotta do though you'll attract more flies with honey than vinegar... Unless you're Damo. He's like a force of nature when it comes to flies and vinegar;)

Wonder how many people walked around to this little cliff pre the "new easy sport routes" going up. Now that word is out there will be a lot more Melbournites with shiny new ropes and draws trooping in.
So J has a point, it will get trashed quickly if access is not described and measures are not taken to protect the base from erosion. Ignore the cynics here J and get in touch with the VCC to explain the issue. You'll be able to show them how to find it and help work out an access route that minimizes further damage.
