Dreamtime - gate closure

Drove from Stapylton to Dreamtime on Friday last only to find the gate closed (as warned as possible in the new book) for 'seasonal closure'. Can anyone shed any light on what season this refers to, and when it might be open again? Yes, I know it's only a 5km walk, but it started to rain too.

[Should've walked in anyway, as we went to Bundaleer and I nearly got stuck in Obliesk DF, but that's another story]

Hi Will,

It can vary a bit depending on conditions and state of the track generally from 13th June till end of October. Some will close 1st May.

Cheers,
Tracey

Thanks Tracey. But to confirm - the gate is usually closed between those dates, or open?

According to the latest Grampians road report "Henham Track between Glenelg River Rd and Serra Rd is still closed due to severe flood damage."
Ordinarily you would expect it to be open at this time of year.
