I summited mt puffalo there last year with a strong party including a 3 year old. The ascent was without incident, however, the descent was treacherous due to mud. I understand the council are currently building some steps to assist local mountaineers.
Seriously, where could a rack be used in the park ?

North-east from the parks office there is the wall worth having a half hr boulder on. Numerous cracks and pockets will take gear. I think the guy I saw must have been practicing placing gear. It was a long time ago. However, upon closer inspection today, it does appear that the bluestone bridge under the hurstbridge line (south of the park and on private property), could be protected with gear. Too hard and too wet with my leading abilities at the moment. But very climbable.
Edit: Not the train bridge, but further down, where the path ends abrubtly. Must be Heidleberg Rd.
