I arrived at the crag to see a very prominent memorial wreath tied to the railings - somewhat off-putting. Does anyone know what happened?

While I was there, a tourist 'party' removed it in a bout of 'high spirits'. Luckily they did not cut my belay rope as they jocularly suggested that they might.

After the winter, Ben Cairn is again open for business. I have volunteered to rewrite the VCC guide section - it's updated partially on the 1.10 guide, but as BA mentions, is not exactly correct/finished/accurate.

Any thoughts on grade/bolting changes could be usefully discussed on these pages. It's been suggested that Plumb Jamgo up to 14, and that a few more stars be sprinkled around to reflect the excitement of these slippery leads: on Raspberry Ripple *, Glass Slipper *, Cordial Kids* and Digit Dancer**.
