I've always found the stream throug the western cave to be pretty regular, but the eastern cave doesn't seem to have a nearby water source. That said, the approach from the top of the ridge to the eastern cave isn't that bad, so just sack up and take the extra water, IMO.
I'm assuming that you're approaching from the Vic Range Road. I would guess that after the rain last weekend that the creek at the end of the old 4WD track would have some water but I wouldn't guarantee it. I'm pretty sure the 4WD track is gated and closed these days so that has will have to be walked.
