This poster is now available for purchase from the CRUX online store hosted at Onsight Photography:
http://www.onsight.com.au/shop/taipan-photo-topo-poster-p-217.html
If you want a copy of this poster you'll need to go through this official online shop process to get one. There are only 50 copies, and if this poll is any idea of numbers these should all be sold pretty quick. I may (stress may!) have a few copies for sale direct at the Australian Climbing Festival.
Friends who asked for a copy - you can give me cashola and i can hand deliver, but you'll need to get in quick!

Just got my massive taipan super topo in the post, and I have to say i am a bit dissapointed with the image quality, espesialy compared to the smaller version.
Anyone else thinking along the same line?

Yep, just got mine too, and I was expecting it to lose some of the quality once enlarged!
But I'm still way stoked to see my favorite wall on such a large poster, just awsome !!!

Hi guys,
Firstly, be aware this is non-profit personal exercise by me.
The 'quality' of this poster is very good, its 300 dpi reformated especially for this larger size (ie I did
not just 'up-rez the original poster. it is 5 individual 12mega pixel images stitched together. If you look
at the poster is is very crisp with no pixalization. It is printed on kodak photo paper, the same stuff you
get photos from the lab.). The main problem that people may have is the darkness and colour
saturation. The poster is more contrasty, and thus more color saturated than the one featured in crux. I
admit it turned out a little darker than i expected due to nature of the glossy paper, although i was
always aiming for this poster to be a stylized version of the wall. The photos were taken in cloudy light
to maintain the details of the wall for the topo, so i bumped up the saturation to try and get a more
orange look to the wall. Maybe i went too far!
I only printed up 50 of these and I have no plan to do any more (the printing/posting hassle was way
more than i ever imagined!). If you bought the poster and want to try and print the photo better yourself
then i can send you the original photo file (its about 200mb i think!). This file is not for free distribution,
just available to anyone who has already purchased the poster. I'm sorry if you are disapointed.

That'd be nice. I'd love one printed on canvas.

I'd get both... onsight is not selling them anymore... Perhaps there would be enough interest to get another run of them done ?

'Code Ice' in Sydney does a good job of it (canvas prints).

They are long gone... though Neil has the image file and might be able to help with something when he gets back from Araps...

If there's a chance of getting a Victorian lot done, I've had good dealings with Genius printing in Fairfield.
