Being asked to provide an opinion on etiquette on Chockstone is a troll post surely?

The limited scenario facts supplied, leaves a fair bit of room for ambiguity in responses too?

I find it hard to believe that Araps doesn't have enough rock available for this sort of thing not to occur, but if it did, and the outcome seems negative, then common sense did not prevail!

It seems bleeding obvious to me that if I arrived at a climb and it was being rope soloed (in any manner), then the climb is occupied. Any climbing of it that I may get to do after that point would rely on communication with the first party on it...
