I dunno if they expect it but I considered it It made me grumpy because I can't watch it. Therefore it's advertising that nearly worked on me - damn them! Half joking really, I expect it's probably one of the better channels. Do you have to pay for a load of other crap to get it though?

my bad, it was actually called the sharp end and was on the fox sport channel. whoops.
it also had a spot on the Czech crag where metal pro and chalk are banned, it had people doing ground up first ascents on 5.14's on knots. Way cool.

I saw the sharp end on the free to air channel (if you have digital) I think its called ONE
its owned by channel 10. That stuff about no metal pro and no chalk was INSANE !

I remember them saying that there's no metal pro but the occasional bolt is allowed which seems odd. Maybe I misheard... *goes digging though collection*

yeah, there was some old rusty things around, kinda looked like old pins or really old ring bolts on some of the footage; but I didnt want them to get in the way of a good story

Wrought iron pound in ring-bolts that look like they weigh 5 kilos a piece. That is what they
look like in the movie.

First Ascent was on OneHD on Monday at 5PM, but unfortunately I missed it. Not sure which version if there are two different films? This Monday (31 Jan) is "King Lines". The segment at 5PM is called "Adventure Sports". Set your PVRs people.

It was the original First Ascent - Didier.
I don't get why Sender confused the issue by reusing the same name. Stupid.
