I just thought I'd mention it here as well - I've already written a letter to the editor.

A colleague asked me if I'd been watching Game of Thrones - because there was some climbing!
Sure enough, Ice Climbing gets a nice old skool treatment with some classic Cliffhanger moments!

I decided here was better than in climbing vids thread, due it only contains grade 3 scrambling...

What amazes me is that Australia really does have some very gifted actors. I'm privledged to work with many of them on a regular basis. Very few of them would cost mega bucks to hire. Perhaps the cast is more gifted than the trailer portrays, (surely?), and they have been cast adrift by a some fairly pointless writing and direction.

I've seen it before.

Not sure if this is "climbing in the media" - but not sure where else to mention it... Rhapsody of the Seas is in Circular Quay today, and I noticed a nice feature on the top deck:

I wonder if you can do a tour......

DxO Optics Pro's whole marketing campaign seems to be based around climbing photos.

"One piece of equipment has become essential to them : their ipad". Is that because of the deadman app or because it makes a good stove mat?

I wonder what they do after the battery has died 10 hours into the trek?

(You'll note the solar charger is not in their rotation nor summit pack)
