That’s a good one ajfclark!! Does that mean your offering to become my support group! Gosh you are a lovely one aren’t you, I accept!
I think the person who got my lunch, should be thanking me. Sub-way was at uni, therefore majority of the people are either big heffalumps, people that resemble Pee-Wee Herman or young pimply kids! All mentioned are in need of some salad!

Sure, I'll be your support group... I prescribe you add a couple of teaspoons of cement to your meatball sub and harden the f&%k up. ;-)

A mate's got a term for that; Heavy rain is described as a Noahkian Deluge.

I'm looking after a Border Collie whose rear end could probably get that thing spinning.

So I did tell you! It's also not a wind mill but a wind pump - big difference in my book.

I'm pissed that I spent the weekend watering my dead lawn to get promptly enough rain to do the job twice over.
On the Phillips head screws. Phillips, the electrical company, came up with these so the punters couldn't service them as everything was straight slot up till then. So the obvious tooling up of the punters eventuated and it's now the most common drive system. It has better engagement than straight slot so long as, with every drive system, use use the correct size Phillips head screwdriver.

ahhh messing up this thread with Philips V alan whotsits - it has it's own thread now. ahhhh so messy.
There was lots of rain today - when I drove to Mildura tonight you could see all the patches of rain showers - I think I counted 5 or 6 seperate showers about with the sun behind them and it looked all pretty as the clouds were all pink and pretty. ( and M9 I'm not pissed off about that either -and I'm slagging D66 for being messy on the threads...) x

Well, I'm still very grumpy about the weather ... it hasn't stopped raining since the end of May! AARRGH!!!!! We had rain on 18 days of August but so many annoying showers that we still didn't reach the months average and we still haven't made up for the complete absence of rain in the first 4 months of the year and are miles below the up to september average. And it hasn't made a dent in the lake. Or the river. Or the fire dam by the mount. It's just been cold (well not that cold if you aren't a summer addict, it's been warm enough for my fruit trees to start blossoming 2 weeks ago and one of my apricots didn't even bother dropping it's leaves), wet and howling gales.
