with a physique like that you have to wonder whether his ascent of punks all those years ago was just an elaborate hoax.

In retrospect, with that mo and hairdo we should have tried to smuggle him onto the Australian cricket team as a fast bowler.

He looked more like a Chappel than a Lilly imo, ergo a medium off-spinner would be more the style?

At least that photo answers a question that been around for a long time. Wolfie did get into Stugangs pants.

I still have some quick draws like that - with the rainbow tape.
They're a bit faded now.
Should I retire them or keep them for abseil anchors, when widewetandslippery is going first?

I reckon that I should be able to update my gear at those prices, but the trouble is that I have made a pact with a secret clan to be buried with my hammer!

Photo ripped off a Dave_S Chocky Trip Report without his permission, but since I was with him at the time it was taken, I am hoping he will forgive me...
;-)
Hmm.
The rules as originally posted by JamesMc;
>If you correctly name the route in the photo, you get to post a photo of another route for someone else to name.
>All routes to be in Australia.
>Don't make them too easy (anyone can recognise Kachoong).
>Don't make them too hard (it will grind to a halt if you show your latest secret cliff).
Ok, this is a slight rule variation in this case as it isn’t hard to guess (or find) the route name for this one; so to make it a little harder...
~> Guess which individual pitch is involved!
Caveat: Those involved climbing the route are ineligible to vote this time, though can adjudicate in the event of a dispute!
☺
2nd Hmm.
As an aside I notice a time gap between 12/12/2012 and 14/07/2015 in recent posts, though my memory tells me this thread is popular and there have been many posts to it during that period.
It would seem that this thread too is a victim of truncation, just like the historical longer trip reports, with the not long back introduced anti-hack measures introduced to this site.

Forgiven, and I'm assuming it would also be unsporting for me to take a "guess" at the answer?
(Speaking of which, Owen/MonkeyBoy and I have been talking about having a go at that route later this year, though certainly a slightly slower pace than that of the climbers pictured. Any plans for a 2015 AidFest?)

Maybe wait a couple of days or so, to give others a chance?

Sure why not. I propose a similar date of late November again, (say 21-22 Nov?), as it fits between most busy holiday events that many people get pre-booked out for.
