Hi Blake, I take it that will be Saturday 4th July? I'll be out there then with my climbing partner. How long are you staying? I think I read somewhere this is your first trip out to Araps?

I'll also be up for that weekend and am hoping to mill around for a bit longer.

Cool....we'll probably be there until Tuesday. Might see ya there. We usually camp at the top of the pines. It's going to be bl*ody cold!! I must be mad! But then, I've been told to toughen up if I want to get into alpine climing!

Just pick up a bunch of wood on your way, having huge fires every night makes it all worth
while!

I've been working on a project for a couple of weeks, finally did the crux move yesterday, only to break a bit off the key hold (3/4 joint 2 finger side pull) whilst standing on it working on the upper move.
hopefully there is enough to left to use...
mind you its taken me all this time to do this move before it broke.
looks like it's going to take a little longer to do....

Gutted...

My Hitch a ride to the Araps for the weekend thread did not produce. My powers of self-
promotion have once again failed me. Sigh....

To make matters worse, without a credible climbing trip I allowed my self to be talked
into working on the weekend.

You will see me sooking in Burnley this weekend.

Gutted,
Sol

Matt,

You dick-tease.

I wish you could show me your shiny rack Monday.

Telstra has other plans for me involving an exchange.

Fark Telstra! When you're in the ground rotting they'll still be charging too much for not enough.

I'm gutted.
The motorbike I rode to work yesterday and had security cabled to a post at the base of the building in a public open place, was stolen.
They left the cut plastic-sheathed security flex-cable, allegedly designed to stop such acts...

I have now purchased the heaviest gauge hardened steel security chain I can obtain...

Gutted and grumpy as hell to be back at work today. Had a 'rest' weekend on the coast, which was awesome. Spent a long time gazing across the sea to Pt Perp dreaming of getting really scared. Will spend a long weekend there soon I think.

But in the short term, I'm at work. And getting angry.

I pop my shoulder out after four days of a new job, so no fun and games for a while.
And my girlfriends mountain bike gets stolen ON THE SAME DAY! Just as she was really getting into
riding too!
