yeah, I know who did it but its not like they stole a project, the climb is in NSW and I live in Vic, I wouldnt have been able to get on it until Easter, I was just crossing my fingers and hoping.

>on it" on trad? x
Yep on trad, Im more upset at this than the fact the climb got done, it had good pro was only around grade 17 and was in a trad friendly area :(

I'm gutted that I just got my first grey hair.
I'm not really gutted. I just wanted to get the thread back on topic.

Gutted we're about to go through the day light savings shenanigans again.
I'd much prefer to be GMT+11 all the time.

I'm pretty gutted about the forecast this weekend. It's fukked. Utterly. I've got a 4 day weekend about 3 hours away, and EVERYWHERE that I've thought of climbing has the following for a forecast:
Friday: Showers
Saturday: Showers, clearing in the afternoon. Some thunderstorms
Sunday: Showers developing.
Monday: Frogs and other apocalyptic precipitation.
I've even considered driving 4 hours dead west and looking for rocks.

You need to quit fussing about getting wet and go climbing. Think not about miserable
failures to stay dry, but of fantastic successes at getting wet.

That is fukked. For some stupid reason, I just presumed the weekend would be fine. Probably, because it was such shit weather last weekend.

Nangar. Although it seems that there is even a bit of rain forecast out there.
Might head out Tianjara way. It seems to be in a bit of a rain shadow and is often dry.
On one side of that road there is the Ettrema Gorge area and on the other is the Budawangs, so if it turns out it is too wet to climb, I'll go on a bushwalk.
Problem solved.
Or I could just go crag hunting in the rain in the Morton. Sounds a bit miserable though. Unless you find some thing good.
I know I'm stuffed if I'm staying indoors this weekend.

try heading about 12 hours south west. It's one of the most promising w/es we've had since may. 4 days is almost worth it.

What's the extra W for?
Wobbly? Wide? Worrying?
Or do you have a speech impediment?

I have met Sarah. Give her a break. English is her second language and her accent is
so thick you could cut it with a knife.
