Just purchased the HD download of CORE and watched it.
I can't leave my desk right now lest my colleagues notice my massive jutting climbing erection that's left me giddy.

Stoked that I flashed Chasing Amy on Saturday (douple stoked because my wife's name is Amy) and that wasn't my only 21 flash that day...
Also stoked that I got all the moves on These Apples must be Jen's and These Cats are full of Milo - I think my long standing grade 22 plateau is finally nearing an end....

im stoked that everyone seems to be so gosh darn jolly stoked! and also because i finally finished unpacking my stuff in the new place... it was one bloody duffel and took me like 3 months to be bothered! very satisfying, except that now i have nowhere to store the empty duffel. oh the lameness of being me! also rather stoked about the plan for world domination that im currently plugging away at.

Stoked because my gear has arrived!!! Now I've got a whole bunch of coloured shiny metal to decorate my harness, I am going to have to find some time and some place to actually use it!

I'm stoked my mate liked the harness we gave him for his birthday. Even more stoked one member of the party thought it was a sex toy and asked "do you wear that when you have the red ball in your mouth?"

Yes. I second that sentiment, and it is good to see her prove the nay-sayers wrong.

Bah! I'm a naysayer! She cheated her arse off. 18,000NM and you're calling circumnavigation?? What next? Go to the south pole and turn on the spot?

Heaven forbid I get back on topic, but just had an AWESOME day down at Castle Rock in the Santa Cruz Mts - my first time there in a couple of years. Scared myself silly soloing up to the top of Castle Rock to set a top rope for some beginners, then doubled down on fear by using a classical abseil to get off (scary and painful - my butt crack may never be the same again!). Serves me right for being a boulderer and not taking a harness I spose...
...anyway, my subsequent pledge to get no more than 2 feet off the ground for the rest of the day bore some fruit in the form of a tick of the "Dog Dish Traverse" (slopey V2) first shot (having been unable to pull onto the starting holds the last time I tried it!). Even came within a whisker of sending the V3 extension to it, which adds in a couple more metres of sloper shenanigans.
