Not exactly a 'padlocky' type question - but still in keeping with strange climbing trivia:
What climber was lucky enough to discover a dead body at the base of PC (or Bartondale?) (Nowra) whilst on a cross-border climbing trip back in the '90s?

Correct on question 2 Boardlord. Knowing your knowledge of such trivia I was expecting you to get this right.
As to the Corpse question - Got me a free coffee and biscuits repeating the whole story to the guys at Hangdog...
The sight of the decomposing corpse (detectives estimated 6 weeks) is still vivid in my mind 10 years later!
And it was below Bartondale, not PC ;-)

Although, KP and I had a few bags of rubbish & some dead tress thrown off the cliff when we were there once....

He tried Bozo at Bartondale. After failing to redpoint this straight forward little grade 20, he gave up on living. Understandable, really.

question 1. Malcom Smith
The thing I remember most about those years was the hunger - what a nightmare! My main time of weakness was in the middle of the night, when I would often go downstairs to the kitchen for a pig-out. To counter this, I actually installed a bolt and padlock on the kitchen door and gave the key to someone else for safekeeping at night. One night though (in a state of crazed hunger), I came down and unscrewed the whole thing. My solution the next day was to cover the heads of the screws with glue!

Still unanswered...
From Eduardo Slabovic
6. Which well know Queensland climber had their testicles padlocked?
7. What name did this Nowra posse called themselves?
Curious to know the answer to Slabovic's question...

Just for you dalai - trivial questions to while away the day (and there's plenty more where these come from). Let me know if they're too easy!
Q1) What route in Sydney has (had?) two door handles for aid nailed onto its final headwall - and has a description of 'Lost in Space on acid' - in reference to another scary route in the same vicinity?
Q2) What route in the Blue Mountains was stated as having 'concept and design by Stuart Wyithe - execution by Saxon Johns', and originally named 'Black Sabbath' (28/29)?
Q3a) Who famously smeared lip gloss over the crux holds of his (UK) project, in front of the legendary French climber Jibe Tribout, who had attempted to climb the route. b) Bonus point: What was the route name?
Q4) What Swiss climber's climbing style was described as 'like watching a race horse on speed'?
Q5) Who created a private training camp (complete with live-in chef and army-related exercise regime) in Hueco during the hey-day of this bouldering paradise?
Q6) What route in Spain was first put up using 4 bolt-on holds at its crux, then later re-climbed using only one of them - thereby upping the grade (still unrepeated).
Q7) What Fontainebleau master is definitely not a 'Fatman'?
Q8) Where can you find Megatron, The Young American and The Kirton Dyno (all famous dyno problems)
Q9) What French climber soloed the amazing 'Pol Pot' (7c+/28) - a route located in the Verdon Gorge, the crux of which is some 250m off the deck?
Q10) Who was the first Australian to climb Lord of the Rings (31)?

I'll pick the cherry!
10) Nick Sutter was claimed as the first australasian ascent (hes from NZ), but i think Stuart Wyithe was the first Australian.
On this topic,
11) What name did Stuart initially give the climb now referred to as Ain't No Sunshine ?

Good questions Boardlord... My memory isn't what it used to be so the questions are hard enough for me.
Only one I am definite about is Q5. It was Todd Skinner (RIP)
A few others I think I have an idea but can't say definitely as yet...
Another question related to 11.
12. Why was "Aint No Sunshine" given that name?

Q2/ Don't believe the tripe
Q3/ Hubble? If so it was Ben Moon.
Q5/ Todd Skinner
Q7/ Jacky Godoffe
Q8/ Stoney Middleton (And its Megatron Turbo! ;) )
