Regarding bomb's post.
I am a nit picker without a life [thanks for the quote bomb:)], ... and the merit I see in this, is that sometime down the track someone may do a search on a particular climb name (all things Arapiles etc), and come across the post/s. If they happen to only be a 'teens grade climber then this kind of information/opinion is very relevant.
In the short term; since I am in that category and have not done those routes, then the delineation is relevant to me and I will be attempting them with a healthy degree of 'flexibility in perception' of their grading.
I thank you for listing them as potential sources of great satisfaction, and understand fully that the grade of a climb is entirely the perception of the person climbing it; or the source* that it is read from!!
(*These vary considerably; sometimes even amongst guidebooks / revisions, let alone forum threads).

Nice post, no nit picking or bullshit comments the facts as stated by you are relavent and well said, I
tend to think that some climbers would be using a guide book to either see where these climbs are and or
route descriptions as regard rapell stations, walk off, number of pitches,if the climb the climb was BOLD,
ect, they would not see a post on a website and climb it without any further research, such as I have
already mentioned- that would be foolish in the extreem, and as such they would get what they
deserve.but I agree with you in that all gradeing is subjective, to the
skill, hieght, bravery, flexibilitystrength, and determination of the climber. Also the style of the route is a
factor if the style is not said climbers strong point, and then you have sandbags/soft touches to add to
the mix as well, so as I said the guy was asking for a range between 18 and 22 so his experience and
capability would cover a single grade discrepancy in the mid to high teens without too much bother, and
he would probably be using the guide book to find and suss the routes before climbing them !..the bomb
