Sorry Doug, but you don't get the book because you DIDN'T take her off my hands...

On the law of averages, I gotta win something sooner or later.

Here I am in the stinkin' hot tropics
Oh for an ice cold beer I do pine
With nothing but that darn sweet potato to eat
And giant coconut palms to climb
Superstu (now living on the north coast of PNG ... with zero rockclimbing potential, sob)

hey_
this is an offer good enough to stop me from soley being voyeuristic,
and join the chockstone discussions myself....
since i have been living here in europe for a year now , having to wast my time on the local chossy areas like frankenjura, gorge du tarn, chateau vert, the dolimites, los mallos de riglos, zillertal....i think i seriously need this new book to stop me from obsessivly looking through my "rock climbing in australia" in desperate need of quality sandstone.

Wow, this has been a popular thread. Nothing like the smell of free booty to bring out some lurkers...
Four days left!!!
Competition for the first part of the comp is pretty intense, but there could still be an opening for the second part......
PS. We're having a book launch and slide show in Sydney next Monday 28th November and Katoomba Tuesday 6th December. See upcoming events. Will advise if we decide to do something in Melbourne.

Well, Rock Climbing in Australia got me through a dreary German winter and brought me all the way back to Oz, so now that I've been stuck in Sydney for far too long I need a copy of World Climbing to fire me up for another overseas adventure.

If the "I need porn" entry doesn't do it, how about "I need it to kill massive spiders that crawl out of my camping gear"? The calendar came in handy for spider removal but the book could be the heavy artillery when the spider is too scary to catch (even when employing climbing methodology). Such versatility-it's the must have accessory for today’s climbing girl! :)

why climbing is better than underwater hockey:
climbing is a lifestyle
underwater hockey is a game

before I come up with something creative - is it possible to actually win both books? :-D
not being greedy but x-mas is only a month away and I've spent all my money on wine :(
(wine tasting tours are evil!)
