Thanks for helping organise the competition Neil.

I just wanted to say that the photo book that I've been working on recently - and which features much of my best photography from the last five years - has been printed (has come up looking great) and will be available later this month... It's called World Climbing: Images from the Edge. It's a large coffee-table book somewhat like Rock Climbing in Australia, but it's an international version and it's bigger. Naturally I'm pretty happy to get it into print at last.

More info is on my web site here. I'm happy to answer questions of course.

Cheers and thanks everyone.

there are three (3) reasons why i should get the book

1) i climb rocks.
2) i like looking at pictures of climbing.
3) i like the look of the cover.
4) i encourage shameless plugging of quality products.

there are four (4) reasons why i should get the book

Okay so it's a coffee-table book, right? So can I still enter if I don't have a coffee table to put it on? I hope there won't be discrimination against non-coffee-table-owning-people - I may not necessarily 'deserve' to win, bit I do deserve to have to same rights as coffee-table-owning-people.

However I can guarantee that it will be in close proximity to coffee (and possibly receive a few coffee stains too) as I drool over the awesome photos, whilst supping espresso, and planning my next big climbing trip.

From my personal description: " Klem Loskot trapped in the body of a fat bumbly"

Yep, that's me at the moment. and I'm in rehab from a leg injury that has prevented me doing any climbing
for the past 3 months or so. So its more a case of Klem Loskot trapped in the body of Jabba the Hutt. and
my deepest apologies for that mental image. My Inner Klem is going quietly insane at the inability to pull
onto rock or plastic, so I need this inspiration from the premier climbing photographer in Oz to help move
my strength program into higher gear and get me back outdoors on real rock with much greater style.
KAAAM AAAAN!! DOOOO EEEET!! Bitte geben Sie mir deine neuen buch!!

Besides, I'm holding Kent's static rope to ransom..........

A beautiful friend of mine (brownie points) was so generous recently to give the gift of camalots. Now with
christmas fast approaching a fantastic coffee table book would be a most welcome addition to her ever so
slim stocking. I may require one for my own coffee table as well, so a buy one get one free kind of deal
would suit perfectly thank you Neil. By the way, the book looks and sounds great. Nice work Simon.
