Damo what was the 22 at Gibralter you had a go at soloing (V1 Special ??)

Why weren't you carrying a small wire or two? I always had at least one on my harness when dealing with carrot bolts.

Done that myself on V1 Special, got up there only to find the bolt plate was not co-operating at all. Intense crystal pulling with minimal feet

I think I know Boomtown Refugee, right on the end of the buttress, I have lead this one, managed to get a couple of rps in.
