Hello everyone,

We are scientists from the Ruhr-University in Bochum in Germany and currently researching how athletes from different sports and at different proficiency levels differ in their personalities.

We created a survey in which you are asked to characterize the typical athlete one meets in your sport and the ideal athlete for your sport.
The survey takes about 20 minutes and as compensation, we will later inform you about the typical personality profile of your sport!

Link to survey:

Feel free to share the link with other people of your/other sports!
If you have questions, leave them in the comments and we will try to answer them.

Thank you so much in advance!

Good one German science bros/sisters.
Your survey doesn't include Rock Climbing in the first question (though does include Mountaineering & hiking), and when I typed in that box it came up as;
>Other than listed (define your sport in the next question).
So, just like your prelude says I can, I then left the first question blank, and when I answered the second question to define Rock Climbing, . . . and then went to go to 2nd page of survey, it looped back to;
>Please answer this question. (question 1).

Nah.
Go back to your drawing board and try again before advertising your survey here.
That was 2 minutes of my life that I won't get back.

The best part was where you had to generate a "unique user number" (or something like that) which comprised the first letters of your mother's maiden name, place of birth etc. All were standard password reset questions and easy to back extrapolate the original values.

Ummm...nope.

And just far too long too - you're going to have to do better to collect that info
