Kind words Mr Gribble, ta.
Not sure Paul Williams 'me dad' would admit to being a God though ...
Chalk up Mr Grib - the best is saved for last.
Thanks,
A.

Nice one Mr Gribble but wasn't 'Terry' originally from Viz?
Just spent the day with editor Andy Boorman and family in Gisborne - over visiting the family. Hugs, high fives and numerous apologies to Ann (Mrs B) for the loan of her hubby and to Ian & Sarah for taking up the dad/in law's time too.
Rather humbling to debut the Amazon chart at No11 on the worldwide Extreme Sports category and No19 for Mountaineering ...!
Oh, only eight copies left now ... if anyone would like one, please PM.
Cheers,
Andy.

Oh
You know Andy, sometime I have difficulty in separating fact from fiction although discerning an 80's Sheffield based climber from a character in an irreverent adult comic can be one for dilettantes.
But I remember Freems talked about him
or did he ?

Ha! Yes readers; "what am I like?" - with apologies to those unfamiliar with Terry F*ckwit.
You callin' me a dil or something Grib?
Funny, have had a whole bunch of emails from all over the world; "why did you quit climbing"?
Jerry, Basher, Mark Leach, two from America ... Surprized I'm still remembered!
Wasn't there an Aussie dude with a girl's name spruiking a book somewhere here recently?
Grabs coat,
Taxi!

"So even if you did only pay 35p (or 70c in Aus/NZ)....." (pg 19 Punk in the Gym)
Bleedin eck, Andy P, I've been checking my mail box every day for the refund cheque, as I paid considerably more than that!
Anywho, I'm only up to page 96 and I've had a few good belly laughs, well worth the money.

Thanks heaps jdb, nice to know that.
There's more ... and if it 'works', some white knuckles, sweaty palms and the (possible) odd tear if you love animals.
Thanks,
Cheers,

JDB - your fault for being impatient and not waiting until you found it in the remaindered bin, or however Andy phrased it.

Thanks Steve and all the best again with yours ...
How come You get a review on This site (in the Reviews section not surprisingly, tee hee) and Mr Gribble & myself don't?
Who do we have to bri ,, er ,, ask politely? 'Pollittly' even, with a 'pretty in front of it'.
Gotta dash, mobile's ringing - in could be 'her' from the other night.
Dash, it was work.

Thanks for your best wishes, Andy.
The kindly ajfclark read the book so I asked if he'd write something for the forum, but he also posted it on the Reviews page - obviously a man of initiative. He even put it on Amazon. He was a regular customer of the Nati cafe back in the days when I drove the coffee machine. I think he was a long black man. Just goes to show that you can never underestimate the power of good service. (I learnt that from Simey.)
I hope sales of Punks are going well. I still haven't finished it I'm afraid as I'm working on another book. I'll be in touch when I get there :)
