Saw the Gorges du Tarn shots too. Looked good!

Would be nice to head over with Bronwyn. Since she loves helicopters so much, she could fly us up the hill at Ceuse everyday so we could avoid the 45min uphill hike. ;-)

I wonder how long it would take DFAT to arrive if I gave them a call while stuck up a cliff?

"All I could do was read Proust and weep on the couch.".
I think I see her problem. She should try Beckett.

What is that article even for - the word polystyrene written repeatedly would be as interesting.

Anyone see the adventure seekers rapping and bivvying(!) off the Pharos during the new Ford Everest advert last night? Ummm...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZeDwWFTN1o

It was screened at least once during the Brownlow ceremony.

When I saw it a couple of days ago, I immediately thought of these threads...

... and then thought to myself that they managed to knock that advertisement out quickly.

Hey M75, did what they pay cover the cost of your portaledge?
;-)

Looks like it might be the same shoot. Surprised that they couldn't come across them at short notice... (or do away with the portaledge shot altogether!)

So after the show that went on with filming that commercial at Arapiles, including no traffic management system for such a tight area on top and blocking in/ out legitimate park users. I was passing through where the producer and posse had been standing watching on to the back of the Pharos.
I retrieved trash including;
- 2 Coca Cola cans
- 3 Water bottles
- 1 Storyboard for the commercial

They were certainly all smoking but didnt look for butts, was too busy laughing about "Full on technical rock climbers" and "Important brand moments" and their depiction of one arm dyno's with an extra 5m of rope slack hanging out.

Looks like they cut all the fun dyno/porta-ledge bits and just stuck with rapping and a long shot in the final version. "Full-on Technical Abseilers"... Lame. :(

Agree, but how often do we see in the acco section of Chocky about another 'climber' mishap when in fact it was absquealers, ie the media isn't too cognoscente...
