So.........what does it mean? Where do the population estimates come from? How did they come to 56 000 000 skiers/skier days in the U.S. in one year? That seems like an awful fuchin lot of skiers.

Also, in Germany, the population estimates for running, cycling, swimming, tennis, horseriding, table tennis, and football! are all exactly the same 6 digit number. hmmmmm?

I think the skier numbers/days would be pretty much spot on, 5 month season and most people who ski would do it at least several times in the one season...unlike here ...skiing is a sht load more accessible

I found the most dangerous time in my climbing life was spending too much time sport climbing then going back to Buffalo...
