From a sticker on the back of a car as I left a rogaine. The other stickers were an assortment of climbing brands....

"If a man is all alone in the forest, and no woman can hear him, is he still wrong?"

No idea who said it originally but it made me laugh.

"I guess xxxx must have smashed a bottle of Jim Beam over my head last night"

Heard early at the crag one day whilst pulling a couple of meaty chunks of glass out of his hair

....sorry no names as i like the people involved and want to remain friends...

I hope the bottle of Beam was empty as bourbon makes crap shampoo.

My Grandmother is over eighty and still doesn't need glasses. Drinks right out of the bottle.

"In the confrontation between the stream and the rock, the stream always wins - not through strength but by perseverance." - Unknown or it could be H. Jackson Brown not sure

"If you chase two rabbits, both will escape." Russian Proverb

"Control your emotions or they will control you".

To follow the path,

To follow the master,

"It takes a smart man to recognise a wise man and a smarter one to learn from him".

"Stupid people always think they are right, wise people listen to advise".

"Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all....."

I guess these two below could seem a little cowboyish but as long as you do your best to control the situation and not be down right stupid then a little fear might be healthy otherwise it might seem that you have a death wish.

"I'd rather give my life than be afraid to give it".

"To fear death is to limit life".

These are a few of the quotes i have on a piece of artwork i have at home that is in the process of being completed, just a bit of encouragement and motivation.
