Neil, you need the ablative case, so it should be "in foro" not "in forum". Also "scendere" - to climb, would be better than escendo - I climb. I dont think vexillum is right either - probably "impermissus".

So it would be "Scendere in foro impermissus est".

Finally after 30 yrs of waiting, doing Latin for the HSC wasn't a waste of time after all!
