I use a Garmin Etrex Vista at work which is good for collecting shape, line and point data in the field...I would prefer a handheld PDA type unit with ArcPad tho... I don't use it for navigation though it's usefull for marking tracks when out mountain biking to put onto maps torelay info to other MTBers!
