We started climbing junglescope last sunday (27/10) and were forced to retreat due to the weather. unfortunately, we had to leave a cam in a pocket tied off with a grey sling at the belay after the first pitch. Since my friend bitterly mourns the loss of his beloveth cam, it would be really nice if whoever might find it could return it to us. Thanks heaps!

The cost of returning and reclimbing the route, would be cheaper than advertising the gear to potential booty hunters?
I detect a pattern here, as your April post re yellow cordelette was at the same cliff!
Did you ever get that back?

That's like firing a starting pistol to see who is going to turn your cam into booty first.
Good luck!

This reminds me of the time that I climbed junglescope and found:
first belay - large length of tape wrapped around the spike with a deep V cut into it from rapping off.
second belay - large length of venetian cord (!) wrapped around something with an even deeper V cut into it,
and finally about 8 meters up from this, one small wire hanging in a flare with a tiny hero (and I use the word advisedly) loop larks footed onto it with a deep V cut into it. The wire fell out when I touched it.
Must have been some day out.
